Our most passionate users aren’t shy about giving us feedback about their PhotoDay experience. In fact, many of the products features we develop are in direct response to their input. Version 1.17 is proof of that. Here’s what you can expect with this release:
MORE TEXT OPT-INS? YES, PLEASE!
Text marketing is a BIG part of PhotoDay – it’s how we bring picture day to parents. The whole love connection starts with the parent texting in an access code to view their gallery. What you may not know is that there are certain instances when parents click on a link that takes them into a web gallery – completely bypassing that love connection that leads to more sales! So, starting with today’s release, we’re giving customers the opportunity to give us their mobile phone number so that they can stay connected to their child’s picture day.
FLYERS FOR THE WEB
Marketing – early and often – is key to selling online. That’s why we’re constantly developing new resources to help studios connect with their parents before, during, and after picture day. With this release, we’re excited to announce a significant upgrade to our job flyers. With a click of a button (alright, a few buttons), studios can now customize a flyer and turn it into a slick looking web page they can share with organizations and parents.
LAB FLEXIBILITY
PhotoDay works with incredible lab partners – Reedy Photo, White House Custom Colour, and Miller’s. We often get asked about using different labs and in the past our answer was, “You need to create a separate PhotoDay account to use a different lab.” But, starting today, studios can add labs right within their existing account.
What does this means for studios? Studios can use different labs for different jobs – and manage their entire business from one PhotoDay account.
To do this, you need to go to the My Studio section of your Studio Panel, and select “Labs”.
